Hi, I’m Jasmin

I’m a database consultant working for Schaltstelle, located in Bern, Switzerland.

In addition to my work in consulting, I have been teaching at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland since 2016 in the Bachelor’s degree programme in Computer Science, Data Science and iCompetence, as well as in the CAS Data Science and CAS Data Engineering continuing education courses.

In my teaching, I focus on building software as a team, development automation, databases and data warehousing.
Sharing knowledge is a big priority for me, as I learn much during the knowledge discussion process. For this reason, I also regularly present at meetups and conferences.

I started working with Oracle databases in 2010. Since the beginning, I have been interested in the topics of continuous integration and continuous delivery of software. When I saw that this topic was still in its infancy in database development, I decided to specialise in it.
During my university career, I have published several papers on the subject (which you can find on my LinkedIn profile).

From time to time, I publish blog posts on the topics of my daily work. These can be found on Medium and the SwissOUC blog.
